We booked more than a month in advance and rented a car that could seat three people and fit three 24-inch suitcases. However, we were given an Opel hatchback, and the trunk could only fit one large suitcase. Putting suitcases on the back seat was unsafe, and it also cramped the space for the backseat passengers. We firmly argued with the staff at the store and eventually got a larger car, but we had to wait for two hours, which wasted a lot of our time and resulted in us arriving at the hotel almost at 12:30 AM. Worried about disputes when returning the car, we purchased full insurance at the store for three days at €102. The return process went smoothly later. Make sure to take video recordings when picking up and returning the car.

The vehicle's technical condition was extremely poor. I rented the car on May 25, and by May 27, the clutch broke and the car became undrivable. On May 29, I returned to the rental store to exchange for another car. However, immediately after leaving the store, the dashboard displayed a fault warning. I went back to the store and requested another replacement, but the staff insisted the car was perfectly fine and refused to switch, claiming that it had just undergone maintenance and was in excellent condition. I reluctantly hoped it was just a false alarm on the dashboard and had no choice but to drive it away. Unfortunately, later that night when I reached my destination, the dashboard once again showed a fault warning, and the vehicle began to shake violently. Upon inspection by local professionals, they confirmed the car was unsafe to drive and required immediate repairs. Experiencing two consecutive cars in poor technical condition raises serious concerns about the company's management practices. Additionally, there was a communication barrier during vehicle pickup, and the staff seemed impatient and had a poor attitude.

Very satisfied. The person at the counter was an aunt dressed in casual clothes, which initially seemed unprofessional. However, it turned out that appearances can be deceiving. She was very meticulous and thorough in explaining the deposit refund process, and didn’t push any insurance. I requested an additional cleaning fee of about 10 euros (because I heard that car rental companies in Italy might charge a high cleaning fee if the car is too dirty upon return, and we were worried we wouldn’t have enough time to wash the car on the last day, so paying for a cleaning fee upfront gave us peace of mind). The aunt carefully explained that this cleaning fee, unlike the deposit, would be directly charged. Despite numerous experiences renting cars abroad, this was the first time someone explained the charges so clearly. She also reminded us to take photos of the car's exterior and fuel level before driving away. The only downside was that because every procedure was done very carefully, it took quite a bit of time to complete the paperwork. It wasn’t busy when we picked up the car, but even so, it took about 20 minutes for our group. I recommend setting aside enough time for car pickup when planning your itinerary. When returning the car, the rental company’s staff wasn’t present, possibly because we returned the car earlier than scheduled. Another company’s staff collected our keys and told us the rental company would send us an email after inspecting the car. We were concerned whether existing scratches or damage might be attributed to us since there was no immediate confirmation. However, everything turned out fine. Shortly after, we received an email confirming the car was in good condition, and a while later, the deposit was refunded. The entire pickup and return process went smoothly.

The car rental includes full insurance and consulate-certified translation. The car pick-up process took half an hour without any upselling. During the trip, there were two minor scratches, and upon returning the car, a €120 credit card authorization was applied. The fuel cap only has Italian labels for the fuel type. The trunk can fit two 28-inch suitcases.

I picked up the car on time, but the car I reserved didn't exist. They gave me a small SUV instead, and I insisted on getting a car of equivalent size because I had planned for luggage space. They said if I wanted the Ford car, I would need to pay an extra €40 per day. I refused and immediately contacted the rental platform. The platform negotiated with them, but they ignored us. After persistently reasoning with them, they finally agreed to give me the car.
Additionally, I extended the rental by one more day. When picking up the car, they insisted I buy their insurance, even though I had already purchased one. They ignored me again, and after my persistent efforts, they charged my credit card with a €3000 credit limit, threatening to deduct it directly if there were any damages. Their attitude was very bad. I recommend everyone avoid renting from this company in the future.

When we arrived to pick up the car, the one we reserved was not available—it didn't even exist. They immediately offered us two options: one very small car that wasn't even the same class we booked, or another within the same class but requiring an additional fee of 40 euros per day. After persistent negotiation and contacting the rental company, they reluctantly agreed to provide a car. Secondly, when I extended the rental for one more day, they insisted I buy an extra day of insurance. I explained that I already had full coverage, but they ignored me and threatened to deny me the car. They even froze 3000 euros on my credit card, warning that they would immediately deduct any damages. After further back-and-forth with the rental company, they eventually gave me the car, but the process took an hour. It was a frustrating experience—without prior rental experience, someone less prepared might have been forced to pay all the extra charges.

I strongly suspect that Loxauto rental company intentionally makes things difficult for Chinese customers or for those who did not purchase full insurance from them. If you don't buy the full insurance, you either have to pay extra to upgrade the car model or wait for a long time. We waited for four hours and had to ask support from Zuzuche multiple times before we finally got the car, which seriously disrupted our itinerary.

AVOID! my family and I arrived 1 hour earlier, and we informed RentSmart24 before. When we arrived to the shuttle pick up location, every time the shuttle driver told us to wait for the next shuttle. We called RentSmart24 few times, and they said that a shuttle will pick us in a few minutes. That whole thing took more than 1 hour! When we arrived it was late, after our expected car pick up time, there was one family before us, and since there is only one person in the reception, we were waiting another 30 minutes. Finally, getting the car! But wait, we booked 2 seats for 2 years old children so they took us to a kind of garage with 8 seats that none of them is good for this age, either 6 years+ or 1 year-. It was almost 12 am, we had to choose 2 seats and risking our kids! Thinking we were finished this whole nightmare, the reception guy don’t know how to install the seats, we need to do it by ourselves! Awful experience, the worst I’ve ever had with a car renting

The Tiggo sometimes suddenly stops moving; don't panic, just press the gas pedal hard and it will work after a while. Italians are really kind and helpful. Very satisfied. They don't forcefully upsell additional services and provide friendly reminders and introductions, which we should understand and respect as part of their job. We received a vehicle of the same class, showing nearly 100,000 kilometers, with an old interior, but the driving performance was quite good except for insufficient power on slopes. We chose to return the car at Florence Airport, and objectively speaking, the service there was better — the staff were sincere and enthusiastic. Of course, all good and bad experiences are mutual, and I believe they also felt the same sincerity and enthusiasm from us.

I booked a 7 seater car as I had 6 people in our party. I was given a long wheel base 9 seater mini bus. As soon as I drove it it was clear that the brakes needed repairing. I went straight back into the office but the representative had gone and closed up. I phoned the next day but no answer and finally got through the following day and returned the vehicle, not for a 7 seater as booked but another large minbus. Where we were staying in Rome this was a real problem as we couldnt get the van on the driveway. Extremely bad. A terrible car rental experience where I was forced to pay for various super insurance fees. I had already paid for basic insurance during the rental, but after returning the car, an additional 13,000 RMB was deducted for various super insurance and miscellaneous charges. This car rental company, AVIS, is highly deceitful. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company as they are essentially scammers. They exploited our lack of knowledge in Italian, guiding us to sign contracts we couldn’t understand, forcing us to pay for unnecessary super insurance. Very disappointing. The other car rental companies I’ve used before did not charge such fees. Please learn from this painful lesson and avoid renting from this company. Even filing a claim proved nearly impossible to resolve because the rental company made us sign incomprehensible Italian contracts. This left us unable to pursue legal action, leading to a very frustrating and costly experience.

We initially booked the rental car on Zuzuche for 1,375 euros, but when we got to Rome to pick up the car, they said we needed to pay extra because there were two drivers, raising the price to over 1,600 euros. We accepted that. During the trip, our car window was smashed by thieves, and when we returned the car to the Madrid Avis location, they charged us 480 euros for the repair, which we also accepted. However, Avis ended up charging us a total of 2,357 euros, at least 200 euros more than expected, and there was no way to dispute it.

I was promised a Mercedes Thunder or a similar class vehicle, but was given a Fiat. How is a Fiat considered the same class as a Mercedes??? Moreover, this Fiat only has one door on the right side in the rear; there's no door on the left side, so you can only enter from the right. They were incredibly meticulous about damages. There was a very small scratch on the front fender, and they documented it and reported it to the manager for a fee. I recorded a video when picking up the car, but I didn't notice that spot and skipped over it. I've rented from Enterprise, Budget, Avis, and Europcar before, and none of them inspected the car like this. It's obvious they're trying to rip off customers.

Usave seems to be a very small third-party agency. When taking the shuttle, the driver said he had never heard of this company and almost didn't let us board. After repeated confirmations, he only agreed to take us to the car pickup location to sort things out. I highly do not recommend this company. First, there was no shuttle bus at the airport. Most likely, you will need to take a taxi to the rental location, which takes about 10 minutes and costs 15 euros. Secondly, the prices quoted on-site were completely different from the booked prices. The staff will try to persuade you to rent at a higher price and buy insurance through bargaining. Just firmly say no in such situations. I ended up with two reservations by mistake, so one of them was refunded later without issue, but the refund on the day was very troublesome.

O carro era otimo, nos atendeu muito bem. Mas nao gostei da cobrança em valor alto no meu cartao de credito no ato da locacao. Na semana anterior, alugamos pela QEEQ tambem, pela Budget, que opera com a Avis, e a cobrança foi muito menor que com a Dolar-Hertz. Outra questao quem com a Dolar-Hertz, o seguro AXA- QEEQ só funciona por reembolso, ou seja, voce precisa pagar qualquer extra e depois negociar com o seguro. Já com a Budget- Dolar nao, o seguro AXA-QEEQ cobre os extras automaticamente. Tivemos nosso voo partindo de Malpensa cancelado e tivemos que mudar o ponto de devolução do carro para Bergamo. Ligamos para a Hertz- Dolar em Malpensa que nos informou que nao poderia fazer a mudança! Fui num balcão da Hertz-Dolar em Verona e felizmente a alteração pode ser feita sem custo extra e facilmente. Mas foi um stress com o atendimento pelo telefone. Por fim, na devolução do carro em Bergamo, o funcionario recebeu o carro mas nao deixou 100% claro se estava rudo OK sem extras. Resumindo, nao pretendo alugar novamente pela Dolar- Hertz, e recomendo a Budget- Avis.

The lack of an international drivers lic. caused a problem that I was forced to take full insurance coverage(545€) before they would give me a vehicle!!! After spending 2 months in Italy and renting a car for that oeriod I was never asked for an international lic. So this vehicle cost me double the original rental!

The car rental company requires a €480 insurance fee for cross-border rentals, which was not communicated by the platform in advance. The platform also sold its own insurance. The additional insurance cost more than the rental itself. Customer service couldn't resolve any issues. Whether the platform is malicious or simply less competent and responsible, as a platform, it should at least have clear information from the rental company. Leaving customers to deal with the rental company's unilateral demands abroad is unacceptable. I will avoid using it in the future as much as possible.

We reserved a Audi A3 but got a Mini Cooper( same class according to the car rental angency but we prefer an Audi A3, no big deal though), the car was absolutely disgusting and we're too busy learning everything about the car before drive away from their Rome airport garage that we forgot to check the fuel level, a few minute after we checked out from the garage we saw that the fuel was only half but the paper stated it was full so we had to return to the garage and ask the staff, he wrote sth casually on the paper and walked away with zero interest in listening to our complain about the dirty car. When we returned the car in Ancona the guy there told us that's what happens at their Rome airport branch quite often, guess they're either understaffed or just have no desire keeping their customer! Btw on my confirmation with EasyRentCars it states clearly that the price quote includes one-way-return but when we picked up the car Maggiore still added a charge we can't remember why but we never buy any add-ons when rent cars, one driver/deny all insurance coz our credit card covers it/same fuel level/no gps needed....we needed nothing extra, now Amex is investigating the extra charge for us.

The front desk staff was aggressive with us, telling us we needed to spend an additional 237 euros and that Easyrentcars did something illegal by renting us one of Goldcar/Rhodium's vehicles. She tried to sell me things that were already covered in my Easyrentcars contract and kept us at the desk for over an hour. She demanded a copy of the contract and continued to tell us this was illegal. I refused to pay the additional fee, which infuriated her, but she finally gave me the keys. The vehicle had damage on it that was not indicated on the initial document, so they re-did it and gave me another. I took pictures just in case they gave me a hard time when I returned it. When I returned the car, I had no problem at all.

The service of counter and garage staff was courteous and efficient. My only complaint was with the vehicle. I reserved a Fiat Panda or equivalent. Unfortunately Firefly didn’t have any cars in that class and they tried to give me a much larger car, which was definitely not useful to me. We compromised on a Fiat Cubo, which has to be one of the worst designed vehicles ever. Because of the front dash construction, with the seat pulled up to accommodate a smaller woman, I could barely fit my leg underneath in order to reach the clutch with my foot. It was virtually impossible to find a comfortable seat position. The vehicle was too heavy and did not handle well , and the clutch was not at all smooth to operate. All in all, I would never take this model again on a future rental. They should remove it from their fleet.

This is a fraudulent company. All legitimate car rental companies in Rome are located close to the airport. This company has no signage, just a small nameplate, and shares a very secluded office with another rental company. Initially, I chose this company because of the high ratings, but it was a huge mistake. Four days for a medium-sized MPV cost 4,122 RMB, and I paid in full upfront. Due to a flight delay, they canceled my order within an hour of the reserved time and refused to refund me. It's simply a scam. I don't understand why they have such high ratings on QEEQ; it's total garbage. I struggled for an hour to find their desk after landing on time, and their no-refund policy is extremely unreasonable. I strongly suspect this is their business model. Contacting QEEQ didn’t solve the problem. I ended up renting the same model from a large rental company for only 283 Euros, which is half the price QEEQ charged. I don't see the point of QEEQ, as they just add extra fees and can't resolve issues. I have kept evidence and will complain to the end! I advise everyone not to trust QEEQ's reviews and that there's no need to book through them. You can easily choose a car on-site from the many rental companies and get a better deal with no risk of such scams. Complain to the end!!!

Extremely poor experience, the worst I've ever had with a car rental. Be warned and avoid at all costs! 1. Couldn't find the store at the airport, the pickup instructions were vague and inaccurate. SurPrice deliberately didn't answer calls and didn't send pickup service (later said answering calls wasn't their job, how are we supposed to contact you for pickup then, telepathy?). Even QEEQ couldn't reach them. We wasted over an hour trying to contact SurPrice's local headquarters, and eventually a car showed up to take us to the store. 2. When we arrived at the store, they took a €1200 deposit, and when we went to pick up the car, they hadn't prepared the Jeep Compass SUV or an equivalent vehicle that we reserved. They tried to pass off a small blue Fiat 500x as an equivalent, but its trunk was too small for our luggage. They claimed it was the only automatic car available and offered no alternatives. The Italian woman at the counter had a terrible attitude. This was the worst car rental experience of my life. 3. Tried calling QEEQ customer service on-site, but they couldn't resolve it either. Their suggestion was to take the car and try to swap it later, a ridiculous idea since our luggage wouldn't fit in the car. How were we supposed to drive it away? 4. We had to cancel the reservation, find another rental at the airport, spend more money, and wasted over five hours before we could leave the airport. It was midnight by the time we left, absolutely exhausting and frustrating start to our trip. 5. This happened on June 17th and by July 5th I still haven't received a refund. No updates from them, only after I called did they quickly email saying they were processing the refund. The €1200 deposit from the store hasn’t been refunded either. It's like dealing with scammers. Please be cautious renting through QEEQ, and avoid this local car rental company called SurPrice. They are still listed despite serious complaints, continuing to harm consumers. Their airport store is particularly dreadful and could ruin your trip right from the start. I still haven't gotten back over 10,000 RMB and have no idea when I will. I’m not even asking for compensation, just my money back, and it’s been a nightmare. Physically and mentally draining, I'm really unlucky to have gone through this.

This happened on June 17th and as of today, July 5th, I still haven't received a refund. No proactive feedback from them, only responded when I chased them. The €1200 deposit hasn't been returned either, and I'm starting to think this could be a scam. Be cautious with QEEQ and especially SurPrice. This branch near the airport is particularly suspicious. They could ruin your entire trip! I'm still waiting for my over 10,000 RMB to be refunded, no idea when this will be resolved. I haven't asked for compensation, just my money back, and it's been a nightmare. This experience has been physically and mentally distressing for me.
