Poor vehicle condition; the car couldn't start during the trip, and they only provided jump-starting service. I had to take the risk of driving over 100 kilometers to exchange the car. The company showed no apology or compensation for the inconvenience and loss caused to the customer.

I booked a Ford Edge, but they gave me a smaller Chevrolet Equinox instead. When I argued with the front desk, they said they didn’t have any Ford Edges available. If no Ford Edge was available, why not offer me an upgrade? Why downgrade me? For years, I've rented cars at Los Angeles Airport in the U.S., and at other rental companies, I could choose any car I liked from a parking area filled with medium and large SUVs. I could pick any one and drive off. At AVIS, however, they assign you a specific car, and in this case, they even downgraded me. This is truly unacceptable!

The lady at the desk had a terrible attitude. She wouldn't answer my questions and behaved arrogantly the whole time. I asked to see the invoice before inserting my credit card, but she refused and rudely told me, 'If you want to rent a car, insert your credit card. If not, just leave.' Honestly, I was speechless. I told her it's perfectly reasonable to see the bill, and she just ignored me, leaving me standing there while she attended to several groups of other customers (Americans, Europeans, and South Americans) with a smile the entire time. I asked her again when I could see the invoice, and she continued to ignore me. I requested to speak with her manager. She seemed a little intimidated, went into the office, and then came back saying the manager would be there soon. After waiting over ten minutes without anyone showing up, I asked her colleague to call the manager. About five minutes later, the manager arrived with her. She instantly acted meek. She even tried to argue in front of the manager, but the manager told her to shut up and briefly explained the situation to me. She finally started processing my rental properly, albeit still muttering under her breath while doing so. I didn't let her get away with it, but I also decided not to engage further. In the end, her manager had already reprimanded her, so I let it go. In five minutes, the paperwork was done, and I took the keys and left.

The rental company staff handed me a form and told me I must choose one of the first two insurance options; I couldn’t skip insurance and couldn’t choose the third option, basic. Since I had already spent a long time in line and didn't want to argue (my English wasn’t good enough for an argument), I hurriedly purchased one of the insurance options to get the car. Later, I realized it included coverage like highway roadside assistance, which I didn’t need at all since I was only using the car in Los Angeles for three days. Overall, it left me with a very negative impression.

It's been a while since I experienced something like this. Rented a car for 53 days, and on the 30th day, the rental company charged $980.11, nearly 7,000 RMB. After returning to my country, I wouldn't have noticed this kind of malicious charge by the rental company if I hadn't carefully checked my credit card statements. Currently in the process of resolving this issue. I recommend avoiding Europe Car and Fox rental companies.

The car rental company provided a high-performance vehicle and delivered it to our doorstep, which was very convenient. The car was also picked up from our location when returned, saving us a lot of trouble. After the car inspection, the deposit was refunded directly without any disputes like other rental companies. We'll definitely use their service again when we come back in March. This hybrid car is extremely fuel-efficient—it only cost us $150 in fuel for 17 days.

The service was excellent. I had a friend picking me up at the airport, so I preferred not to pick up the car there. I was staying in Beverly Hills and asked if it was possible to have the car delivered to my place. They agreed and delivered the car to my doorstep. Returning the car was just as convenient; they picked it up from my home as well. Additionally, I needed a child seat, and the staff bought a brand new child safety seat specifically for me. The service was outstanding.

The deposit was promised to be refunded within 3 days before confirming the cooperation. It was paid via WeChat, but even a month after returning the car, it still hasn't been refunded. This isn't due to a bank issue, the car condition, or the fuel level. If you can't fulfill your promise, you shouldn't make it. Promising but failing to deliver is unacceptable.

First of all, I felt that the service wasn't very good and communication was difficult. When returning the car, I couldn't find any staff and there were no service terms provided. Overall, my experience was quite unsatisfactory. Secondly, the daily mileage limit was only 100 miles, which I found insufficient for Los Angeles. The car wasn't the specific one I ordered. I had to wait for it to be washed, around The wipers were old and didn't wipe away the water well. The worst part was that I was told the best way to pick up the car on your app and on the email I received (which was option 1) was to get an Uber to the pick-up location and I would be reimbursed once I got to the office. Uber charged me $75 even though once I was dropped off realized it was only about a mile away. I told the office how much the Uber was and they then informed me that they only reimburse up to $15. That information is nowhere to be found and I was upset that now I had spend a further $60.

We were unfortunate in that we were rear-ended on highway, but although the car that hit us was totalled, our rental was able to drive away safely after the police officer assessed the scene. The return process was much less complicated than expected. The only negative would be that the telephone number provided by the rental agency was not answered even though I called on three different days and the voice mail was full. The email I sent did make it to the staff though, so they were aware of the situation before I arrived.

Terrible service!! Not friendly at all! Waited over an hour to get the suv they didnt have. I had paid the deposit online plus the insurance for a total to be C$224.58 (Allianz for C$ 119.92). And now have been Charged $464.61!! USD? Are you kidding me? I was speaking to someone via 'monitor' and when I said I checked to pay the insurance and didnt need anything else he somehow said "just the standard?" and bamboozled me! The vehicle smelt like marijuana inside! The back passenger side tire was below pressure and when asked to pressurize it...they had nobody to do it and asked if I wanted a different vehicle (So I could wait another hour plus)? I will look into these manipulative practices which seem to be a scam and possibly contact the BBB. I want my money back! I will never use ACE again nor advise anyone to use this company.... I am not finished with this yet and look to be compensated for the full amount as recompense.

The directions to the shuttle provided incorrect bus stop information. Other than that, pretty great experience. It was kind of weird that the 3 people sitting at the counters couldn’t assist me and that we had to do a video check in with a remote CSR, but it was ok. That was the worst experience I ever had a rental car place. We missed our reservations due to having to take over an hour to pick up a car that should have already been ready for us! we had a 10:00am pick up and didn't get there until 11:30. They had plenty of time to get it cleaned, etc. The car they gave us also didn't fit all the luggage as claimed in description. Thankfully we had a friend waiting on us and we were able to put the extra bag in their car. We had to send one person back at the end of our trip with their luggage via Uber because it wouldn't fit.

Everything was smooth and professional, the mystery car was better than I expected. Their service was quick and professional. The challenge was knowing how to go to a different level of the airport than rental car buses and look for a Renaissance hotel shuttle. If QEEQ hadn't given me their local phone number to listen to a recorded message multiple times of how to get to the rental office, I would have never found it. There was NO information about this on the reservation. The office would have closed, I would have been stranded at the airport. Once I figured out from the recorded message how to catch the Renaissance shuttle on another level, it went well. But without the local number, which was given to me only because I chatted with QEEQ, finding them would be impossible. This increased what could have been less than 30 minute checkout time to almost 60 minutes because I waited at rental car shuttle area for 30 minutes before learning that was wrong.

I had a good experience but after all was said and done I wound up spending a lot more than I had planned. I think the price offer to replace gas is tricky; I found a better price while we were out at Ralph's and filled up some of the tank as needed but lost out in the end because I put a lot into the tank after already signed up for the whole tank to be replaced at a higher price. So my charge for the gas at over $70 after already putting more in the tank was astronomical. I wouldn't do this again next time. Other than this, my experience was great!

Airport Van Rental should have specified the latest operating hour where they would accept the last transaction. I booked a pickup time of 11:30pm where AVR closes at 12:00am. Of course at the airport, it always late. There was no shuttle to AVR. AVR closed when I arrived at 12:10am. I had to return to AVR the next morning and it cost me $60.00 more!

LAX is a mess and the pick up locations to get to the hotel where the care rental company is located was a nightmare. There are not enough clear signs where you should wait for the hotel shuttle. Steven was not professional. His language was not appropriate or professional. He tried to give me an SUV and argued with me that I what I requested. I showed him my reservation for a Nissan Versa or similar. The manager looked at my reservation and explained to him that it was transferred and looks as if U -Save staff entered it wrong. Steven upgraded me to a Hyundai Sonata (I think) after multiple requests of me telling him I DID NOT want an upgrade. He said it’s ok, it’s free, I got you. I told him again that I did not want that car. I accepted it because this process had been too frustrating. I was not given a pass to get out of the gate and had to sit at the gate for 10 minutes. I had to get out of the car and go find a hotel person to let me out.

Also, a few days after the drop off, my credit card got charged an extra $93. I have absolutely no idea why, I’ve been trying to contact them, I left at least a dozen voicemails...nothing. I will definitely contact my credit card company to dispute this charge. I do not recommend this company at all.

When picking up the RV, I told the staff that my English wasn't very good. They introduced the RV's features and usage instructions very slowly and in detail. When I repeatedly asked for clarification, they were very patient. When returning the RV, we were more than two hours late, past noon. We were supposed to be fined 300 dollars, but since the RV staff saw we had driven over 5,000 kilometers without any damage and had cleaned the RV, they waived the late fee and just asked me to send my wife a bouquet of flowers. Very humane.

Besides the daily rental cost of around 600 yuan, there was an additional charge of $0.45 per mile. I traveled around 2200 miles in the West and was charged an extra $1000 when returning the car. Additionally, I was charged $180 and $33, which brought the total extra costs to approximately 10000 yuan. The rental company claimed that a tank of fuel could last 400 miles, but in reality, it only lasted about 280 miles, with each tank costing around $140. The fuel consumption was excessively high at about 33 liters per 100 km, which is far from the 25 liters per 100 km mentioned on the rental website. Most of the cash I brought went into fuel!!! Moreover, this poor car rental company only provided basic insurance with a deductible of $1500, meaning small damages would require you to pay out of pocket for repairs. I slightly scratched a car while making a left turn in a narrow parking lot, which will likely cost me $600-700 (deducted from the $1500 deposit for insurance claims). It's outrageous!

The pick up shuttle never showed up. We finally took another shuttle to get to the car rental area. After we got there, they were telling us that the car insurance that we had bought through Easycarrentsl.com was not good and we should buy their insurance. After a. Loy of haste, we conveniences them that between our insurance, credit card and $10/day insurance that we had bought through the rental website we thought we were covered and we didn’t need to buy a fourth insurance for the car. Extremely disappointing experience. Won’t recommend them at all. And they should be investigated for trying to defraud the customers.

I didn’t take the insurance when I booked the rental online. During car pick up I took the insurance. They were charging in Mexican currently where all my credit cards were declined due to that. Then I had to goto a near by ATM to withdraw cash. Also no roadside assistance available though they charged $365 for insurance for 2 weeks. There was no proper contact number as well when I had to questions to reach them.

I found an Alamo bus which had a cars available sign. The rental cost 4X the amount of the amount I had paid.

The van was old and beat up. Things were broken and there was tape holding up things. There was also a crack in the windshield. We were told the van would be in one location for pickup and she placed it somewhere else. They also gave us a van with no gas.

Like: This car was about half the price from some of the other car rental companies near LAX.
Dislike: Trying to get to the car rental location was very difficult. The confirmation e-mail came from easycarrentals, but the name of the company was Right car rentals. There was no bus that came to the LAX car rental pick up for over 30 minutes. I called twice to find out what to do. Both times I was put on hold for over 15 min and eventually I hung up. I got on a bus that said EZ car rentals, but I found out after I was taken to that location that was not the correct bus. I had to walk from EZ to Right. Once I got there everything was fine, but getting there was very difficult.

First, I'd like to commend the staff who helped us pick up the car. He was very helpful and picked us up about 5 minutes after we got out of the airport. It was our first time driving in the US, and he answered all our questions. Later, he responded to our inquiries promptly. The car was in good condition with about 30,000 kilometers on it, and we drove around 2,000 kilometers without any issues.

The staff didn't explain things clearly during pickup and didn't provide a contract. Although they later sent it via email, we were still skeptical but trusted them anyway. Two weeks after returning the car, we were notified about an unpaid toll that had resulted in a fine, increasing from $6 to $63. Shouldn't such notifications be given promptly after returning the car? Why inform us only after it became overdue? We had to handle the appeal ourselves, and the after-sales service was very poor! Additionally, they called us midway to ask if we could change cars because of their mistake in double-booking. Shouldn't they have sorted this out themselves instead of disturbing customers during their trip? Their careless approach caused us inconvenience. While the rental process was straightforward, it was overly simplistic and lacked proper communication. Problems were left for us to handle, indicating an overall organizational issue.

At Los Angeles Airport, there was a guy with a Northeastern Chinese accent who brought the car to us. He was very sincere. There was also another lady he picked up at the airport, and he was very patient in helping her with her taxi. Our vehicle handover went smoothly. Like: Deanna was really nice and helpful. We didn't have any problems. Good price for a mid-size SUV for 2 weeks. Car was spacious and in good condition. Airport shuttle was convenient and efficient.
Dislike: We were hoping for a Toyota Rav-4 like in the rental description, but there weren't any.
