Parfait, comme d'habitude

Overall good experience with the rental. Confusion about the extra option of automatic refill of the car. On the rental agreement I noticed (a bit late) that I had agreed to this option, which I had not agreed to upon pickup. As a result I did not fuel it up myself, (since I thought the rental company would do this) for which I had to pay an extra charge. This was not good and not clear and not agreed upon rental.

Long wait to collect car, inspection reports only available in French!

Our flight landed early and we got through baggage handling and passport control early which meant we were an hour early to pick up the rental. However thrifty would not let us pick up the car or even queue up until the time we had scheduled not even for an additional price. The car was there and ready so this seemed really odd

Loved the price drop protector, you had to be quick but I did save a considerable amount

La voiture avait été lavée, mais les vitres étaient plutôt sales. Le pare-brise était vraiment sale à l'intérieur. Confusion entre Thrifty et Hertz aux comptoirs. Les compagnie sont-elles fusionnées ?

Counter was not that crowded, organized in 20 minutes The car was as expected size & model.

Thrifty in Toulouse was run through Hertz and they provided a more than satisfactory rental experience with a high spec. care. No issues at pick up or drop off. Would book through them again.

Simple booking procedure with competitively priced cars.

I was advised at collection that there were a number of scratches on the car which I did not mind as I am always anxious when collecting a car in pristine condition. We tried to photograph the car before leaving the car park but it was too difficult in the sunlight to see all the scratches and dents. Whilst an email file was sent with all the photos it was too difficult to see on my phone-we only got to see it later in the day when we accessed our iPad. Service at help desk was speedy and friendly. We were offered additional insurance cover but we explained we had bought upgrade with the online booking and agent did not try and sell us more (as we experienced previously with other operators)

Straightforward to use; there was a minor issue with collection instructions not being clear in booking confirmation email, but the online agent made a call on our behalf and confirmed precise details via email shortly afterwards

Took a long time and they were purposefully not providing winter tyres and then upselling snow chains/socks at ridiculous rates.

Car was c3 and not a focus.

La voiture était parfaite concernant son état et ses options, cependant ce n'était pas un van comme demandé, mais un monoplace avec 7 places. Nous avons adapté les bagages en conséquence, mais il manquait un peu de coffre.

Got upgraded to opel corsa . Very nice staff . But one of the staff confirmed that any little chip or dent on the car cost a minimum 99 euro to the customer even if Hertz doesn’t fix it . So you have to be very careful and make sure you have recorded all little dents and scratches on the car which was not the case for me . I had to go back and get it reviewed which took a little bit of time . Drop off was very smooth .

Good booking process

Very pleasant counter staff, easy collection although would prefer to hand over to a member of staff on return.

It seems like Sunday’s are always very busy for pick ups at the airport. But all rent a cars had about a 2 hour wait. Also coming for the other terminal and getting on and off the busy and thru a walkway that doesn’t fit carts is not fun. But everyone manages.

Staff at Beziers downtown office were super friendly and helpful and offered to translate in english for me, which was very generous.
