The service was professional. Although they introduced additional insurance, they proceeded with other formalities without any unpleasantness after I declined. The vehicle was relatively new and in good condition.

After taking a number at the car rental agency and waiting in line, they tried to upsell insurance but stopped when I told them I had already purchased it. This Kia is a hybrid and drives very well. The fuel consumption is around 5 liters per 100 kilometers. A good rental company.

When picking up the car, you have to inspect it yourself as no one accompanies you for the inspection. If you miss any issues and they are found when you return the car, it’s your responsibility. They do not accept photos taken during pickup. We suffered from this as the inspector at return immediately pointed to a very hidden scratch on the bottom of the front bumper and demanded we pay 225 euros for it. The scratch was extremely small and could not be noticed during inspection or while driving. We suspect they are trying to scam us. Make sure to thoroughly check the car, including the bottom, when renting.

We have been charged extra for having another person on the car, but we asked at the desk and were informed this was for free. Subsequently, I have been charged over £40 by my credit card including interest, this was never meant to happen and has affected my credit rating. It is a shame as we come to that airport often and always need to hire a car, but this has tainted my experience and probably wouldn't use you again.

The counter staff took it personally that I declined to take €84 extra smart cover for damage insurance and chose a €1050 deposit instead. She was very rude with me (Mariana Teresita Di Stasio) when the bank declined my first attempt at paying the €1050 deposit. Eventually we were successful but she really pushed for me to pay an extra damage waiver and was unpleasant. Talking about me to her colleagues in Spanish almost as if I was not there.

Booking was easy and I would use easy rent cars again.
