Disappointed

Very satisfied, upgraded to a Mercedes A200. The rental staff were very enthusiastic, escorted me to the car for handover on-site, and kindly pointed out several parking locations for returns. I’ll rent from this company again if I get the chance.

Overall good, but I have a small complaint. When we arrived at the pickup point, they spent quite a bit of time trying to upsell us different upgraded models. I wouldn't mind this normally, but they ended up using nearly 30 minutes for the sales pitch and counted that as part of my rental time. This means the rental period started from the moment they greeted me, not when we finished the process, and 80% of that time was spent on upselling.

Average attitude

The lady at the front desk gave me a parking card after completing the paperwork, but the card didn't work to exit the parking lot. I tried multiple times, but it was useless. When I went back to find her, she was gone, the door was locked, and her phone was unreachable. There were no staff in the parking lot, which was underground. I was trapped for an hour and a half and couldn't get out. Finally, I found a machine, but it was broken too. After pressing a button, someone spoke, and two ladies also needed to pay. Eventually, I followed them to pay the fee, which was £43.5. Customers should not be charged for parking fees before picking up the car. It’s not just about the money, it was a nightmarish experience and very frustrating.

Like: Completly satisfied with the booking I made with easyrentcars. The car has been upgraded to a bigger car. The staffs are nice and friendly. Highly recommended.
