ideal vehicle for touring

The service was excellent and patient. On the return day, we could choose between an on-the-spot inspection or a post-return inspection; we opted for the former to confirm everything was fine before leaving. Communication went smoothly, there was no upselling of insurance, and they upgraded the vehicle model. The car was very new, and the driving experience was great.

the tank was not full, it was £7 short of petrol, car was dirty esp windscreen, screen wash ran out very quickly so had to drive with limited vision and electric windows stopped working for half an hour so had to drive with drivers wndow fully open on a mototrway. told staff upon return and they didnt seem too bthered, no offer to recompense the lack of petrol, not impressive.

When I try to pick-up the car, they required insurance even I paid for super cover insurance. I have used this application several times, and I always using super cover. But they said I paid for other company. I can not understand this situation. So I had no choice and went trip without insurance. It was very terrible experience.

Like: End to end reliability, condition of car, performance. When the former renter only refilled the vehicle to 3/4, we obtained a small refund to honour this.
Dislike: Hard to return at Luton Airport (car return not well sign posted) but not Hertzs fault. Airport needs to do better.

Like: Got upgraded on the vehicle so more than happy.
Dislike: Probably took an hour to pick up the vehicle due to staff shortage and busy period
