The car provided was a Mercedes A180D instead of the Volkswagen T-Cross, and I was quite worried about scraping the undercarriage while driving on small roads. The staff at the return location were very friendly.

When picking up the car, Hertz staff aggressively pushed the super cover insurance, implying that you can't rent a car without it.
