For a one-day rental between Los Angeles and San Diego, driving 200 kilometers, the total cost was 996 RMB plus $144.29. This turned out to be my most expensive rental experience in the United States in over a decade of renting cars. Very disappointing!

The staff tried to upsell other models and added extra insurance without informing us. The tablet screen was very small, making it difficult to understand the specialized terms in the English contract.
