Both pick-up and drop-off are very convenient. There was no insurance upsell during pick-up, and at drop-off, the guy at the counter just took the keys, recorded the mileage, and said everything was okay.

My initial pickup experience was great. However, I had to return the vehicle twice for defect. (First return for minor problem) The first return was very problematic and chaotic and took a long time and car was dirty and sluggish. Customer service was less than stellar. The second return was faster but car did not have CarPlay which was inconvenient. Customer service was adequate. The final return was slow. Unable to checkout at car side with no reason given had to wait in long inside line with pickup passengers. No reason given, but later found i’d been erroneously charged for refuel. Online customer service was great. Sometimes was a long hold but reps were always pleasant and tried to be helpful.

Like: I like that I was able to get a good deal and the Manager of Budget let me keep the deal I got even when they found out I was given an international rate!
Dislike: I was given an international rate and Budget almost did not honor it because I do not have an international passport or id! I had no idea i was given an international rate and that you are based in Ireland! I almost lost my reservation! They initally wanted me to cancel and request for a refund from you guys and rebooked thru them without guarantee they can give me the same car and definitely not the same rate! It was so inconvenient i had to prove my innocense and they eventually let me keep the same deal thanks to the manager!
