After unsuccessfully trying to upsell, hidden fees were sneakily added. Once identified and canceled, the company started issuing various reminders and warnings with an arrogant and rude attitude, urging me to sign and claiming it was a deposit that would be settled based on actual costs. Upon returning to my home country, I received a credit card statement showing charges based on the estimated deposit. I have already initiated a post-sale intervention.

Very slow, long queue for AVIS as usual. Agent couldn't find me a car but after waiting 10 mins found me one which was damaged and not clean. Agent then tried to add on an $800 excess waiver without telling me, luckily I noticed it before paying.

No free upgrade when there's no car available. Won't use Avis again, too much nonsense. The hybrid's trunk can only fit one 28-inch suitcase.

Both the pick-up and return process were quick, and the deposit was only 100 dollars. The entire experience was very pleasant. When renting a car, you don't need to worry about electronic tolls, as most American highways are toll-free.

Once again getting issued with a compact SUV when mid sized ordered. Car and service was acceptable just wish didn't have to fight to get what was booked
