The place to complete the procedures and the pickup location are separate (about 500 meters apart). The person at the pickup location had a very indifferent attitude.

I picked up the car at Rome Fiumicino Airport. The directions from the arrival hall to the second floor were very clear, and the counter service was quick. Self-pickup car, a brand new hybrid with only 21 kilometers. Returning the car outside Florence Airport was initially challenging as I had trouble finding it. After asking for directions, I finally found it. It wasn’t far, but the route was somewhat complex. Car return involved a simple inspection and some questions. Not sure if there will be any issues later since the pre-authorization is still pending.

Extremely impatient attitude, completely discriminatory towards Chinese people! I hope your company can take this seriously and communicate with your partners to address this issue! Although it is difficult to change the inherent negativity in some countries, at least basic service should be provided!

The car and most things are good. The only great challenge is this particular Hertz does not really serve international customers as they do not speak English. The many times I called, they simply said "No English" in Italian. Perhaps, it's just the phone call but no, it was the same when I do the pickup. The main guy who runs the business and a mechanic can't speak anything English! Don't get me wrong, he's nice and responsive. And he tried to do hand signal, etc, but really communication is very challenged here. Hertz should have a special sign that says 'Italian' language only. Otherwise, this is quite futile.

All good. Did not need to call any of the 24 hours numbers, but the online support and enquiry were all very good.
