One of the better renting experiences ever.

The trip experience was not good. First, even though I specifically booked an American car in the U.S., I only got an equivalent Korean car. After driving for a day, the tire punctured, and I spent the entire morning at the service center. They didn't replace the car, so I had to get it repaired, which was free but disrupted the itinerary, causing us to miss some planned attractions. When we got to Los Angeles, another tire broke. This time, I spent half a day and they gave me a Japanese car instead. The two incidents wasted a lot of our time and the experience was terrible. However, in the U.S., all repair costs, including a damaged side mirror, were covered by the rental company, making the super insurance I bought from Zuzuche seem unnecessary.

Overcharged for insurance

Picking up and exchanging the car was very quick. Good service, relatively new car.

First, I thought picking up the car with my order would be easy. But at the counter, the staff tried to sell us various insurances. Since we couldn’t understand the language, it was a waste of time. They also suggested we upgrade to a bigger SUV for an extra $100 per day (we had someone nearby translate this for us). We refused, and then they offered the upgrade for $50 per day, which we also declined. In the end, refusing was the right decision because one SUV was enough for four of us. We followed the full-to-full fuel policy, but they still charged us $66. At that time, we couldn’t communicate and didn’t ask questions. After returning to our country, we found out it was for the fuel. Basically, we refueled the car and they still charged us for a full tank. This is really frustrating. If we didn’t return the car full, they should have communicated with us, but they just deducted the money directly.

Very good. The front desk was very efficient, and there were no additional insurance sales. The car was nice as well, with a variety of vehicles to choose from. Highly recommended.
