The service from Budget was pretty good. Unlike the car rental company we used in Sicily before, they didn't create unnecessary trouble. Returning the car was straightforward. The only issue was the car model was changed to a Toyota Yaris, which is much smaller than the Lynk & Co we originally booked.

The price is reasonable except for the insurance upselling.

We waited over 2.5 hours to get the car, far too long. There was no explanation as why this was and it would have been good to have received a warning.

Additional fees applied when we picked the vehicle up including a 'one-way service fee'. Prepay fuel fees were for a larger vehicle that we ended up not receiving, but we were billed the higher amount anyway. Overall, around £30 in surprise fees. Won't be using again.
