The staff is abundant, and the car pickup was very quick.

Overall satisfied with the experience. The vehicle was upgraded to an XC40, which could fit three 24-inch suitcases perfectly. The built-in Google navigation system was very convenient to use. The only downside was that the car wasn't provided with a full tank of gas; it had just over half a tank. The staff mentioned that there were no gas stations nearby and suggested prepaying for half or a full tank, which made leaving some gas in the tank a bit tricky. I just returned the car a few days ago, so I'm not sure yet if there will be any additional charges.

I found out that it’s a subsidiary of Eurocar. The staff were very thorough in checking the information of the credit card used for the deposit. Initially, I chose a manual Vauxhall Astra, but when picking up the car, the staff kindly suggested I switch to an automatic if I didn't want the hassle. I said it was fine, and then I was pleasantly surprised to be given a Peugeot 2008. The return process was quite smooth; a good experience overall!

I am disappointed with Alamo's counter staff. Even our pick up time was 09:00, we arrived at the counter at 08:30 and we could pick up our car at 09:50! If I would drop off the car 50 minutes late, most probably I would have to pay for additional time. It was pleasure travel and time was important. I will never rent a car from Alamo!
