Apart from the long queues and the time spent waiting being longer than other rental companies, I'm generally satisfied with the condition of the car.

Although the store kept promoting various insurances, there was no mandatory purchase. Overall, it was still good.

The Dollar Counter in the airport was closed, but had a sign directing me to the vehicle collection area. The booth in the vehicle collection area was closed, but had a sign directing me to Hertz. The Hertz representative was busy, but did assist me in picking up the vehicle from Dollar.

QEEQ.COM sent me notifications about the processes of picking up and returning the vehicle, which I appreciated.

Nachelle went out of her way to help me, as I showed up a day early needing a car. This was a Saturday, and you had very few available - she was very kind and told me ‘she would find a way to make it work.’ Indeed, a car got quickly cleaned and I drove it away. Murray was also kind and funny - I noticed how friendly and warm the team were with one another, which is a very good sign in any workplace. I would definitely recommend Dollar, based on my experience - and will be a repeat customer when in Detroit.
