Just so much better than what I had expected.

Not bad

It was my first time driving abroad, and on December 24th, right before Christmas, there were no cars available for me. Don't even think about a free upgrade. Do you think I'd be satisfied?

It was my first time driving abroad, and I chose Eurocar. It was a terrible experience. When we arrived at the store at the scheduled time, the staff told us they didn't have the car we reserved, not even a similar one. They wanted me to pay extra to upgrade to a Benz C-class. The staff were not proactive in solving the issue. After several communications, they finally suggested we switch to a Golf, misleading us by saying it had more space than the Benz B180 we originally booked. To save time, we had no choice but to take the Golf, which only reduced the rental fee by 300 RMB for the seven days. It was an especially frustrating rental experience.

There was a bit of a wait in line, and then we encountered some issues during pickup. After getting the car, we found more damage than what was listed, so we went back to amend the report. Fortunately, the front desk was cooperative and marked the damage on the list and signed to confirm.

Like: Pleasantly surprised by how helpful the Europcar office staff were with limited upsell.
Dislike: I got slightly confused at Heathrow T2 over which bus stop to use for the shuttle - some better signage that can be seen at a distance would help.
