The overall service attitude was quite good, but there is a significant difference between the vehicle inspection at pickup and return. When picking up the car in a dimly lit underground parking lot, photos were taken of all sides of the vehicle. However, during the return inspection, it took place outdoors in well-lit conditions, and even the lower parts of the front and rear bumpers were inspected. I encountered an issue where they claimed there were scratches underneath the front bumper. There was clearly no collision, and I couldn't provide photos from the pickup because who would take photos of the underside in a dark parking lot? Although no compensation was ultimately required after negotiation, the experience was not great.
Average. The software marked the wrong pickup location, which caused me to take many unnecessary detours. I had to call to finally be informed that it was on the first floor of Penang International Airport.
I rented a car for five days in total. Initially, I got a Nissan Almera, but on the third day, the car suddenly couldn't shift gears. I contacted customer service, and after waiting for more than an hour in downtown Penang, an employee from the rental company arrived with a Honda City to replace my car. The replacement car was relatively newer, had better power, and I drove smoothly all the way to Kuala Lumpur.
When returning the car, their designated parking spots were full. I sent messages and made phone calls, but no one replied. Feeling helpless, I had to park on the upper level. Then, I walked to their office at the airport, but there was no one there either, so I had to leave the car key in their drop-off box. Three hours later, they sent a message asking why I parked on the second floor, claiming that parking there incurs extra charges and they would deduct the fee from me. I was extremely upset because no one responded when I tried to reach them, and there was no staff at the reception. If they had addressed the issue earlier, the parking fee could have been avoided.
The store is easy to find, the customer service staff have a great attitude, everything was explained clearly. It was my first time driving a right-hand car, and the experience was perfect.
Very satisfied with the car rental experience. Thanks to the rental company for resolving issues promptly and to the staff for their enthusiasm and patience.
Renting a car in an unfamiliar country can be daunting, but the staff at this company completely eased our concerns and addressed all our unfamiliarities. Very thoughtful service!
