Foreign staff may incorrectly assign insurance to you. If you have already purchased insurance in your home country, make sure to communicate clearly with them about this. When renting cars abroad, although full coverage may have been purchased domestically, language barriers and information gaps might lead to additional insurance being upsold, resulting in poor customer experiences. It's recommended that renters directly purchase insurance at international rental offices as needed to avoid duplicate expenses and unnecessary trouble. I rented a Toyota Sienna but was given a regular business vehicle instead.

I often rent from Avis at Boston Airport, and this time was really quite good.

This time, I rented a car from the AVIS location at Boston Airport, and it was the worst car rental experience I've ever had in the U.S. The staff at the location had a very rude and unfriendly attitude, and their customer service was extremely poor. I will never rent a car from the AVIS Boston Airport location again and will also remind my friends to be cautious.

I had booked a Toyota Sienna, but since it was unavailable, they upgraded me to a Ford Expedition, a super large American full-size SUV that is extremely easy to drive!

The office staff are very cooperative especially Karim and Mohammed.

Arriving at Boston airport at 6 PM to return one car and pick up another already paid for, I have to say there were only two staff members. Their efficiency was low and their attitude wasn't great. It took me over 4 hours to finally leave.
