I'm a Hertz Gold Member, but it doesn't matter when booking through a 3rd party...which I expected and understand. It was extremely busy and a lot of customers vented their frustration at the people working there, which accomplished nothing. Patience and politeness was rewarded with a new minivan instead of a 7 pax mid-sized SUV (at my request once told it might be a long wait for the other class) and a complimentary tank of gas.

The entire booking process was outstanding. I love the app!

Me and a friend booked 2 Mustangs for our American road trip, we got there early just in case. Pickup time was 11, our cars weren't ready until 12.30 so we waited about for over an hour and a half to then be given a Camaro and a Mercedes. How can you compare a Mustang to a Mercedes. Ones a 4 seater American car, the other is a 2 seater car you can find anywhere so we had trouble with our luggage space (you can only fit 1 suitcase in this car). Awful service from Hertz

Booking was fine and easy, no complaints here.

The van wasn't available at the original pick up location. They ordered a Lyft for me and sent me to another location across the city that had a van. This delayed my trip by about an hour, but worked out ok. At the second location, I kept being told that I could not get the price of my Easyrentcar voucher, but I continued to say that I would not pay anything but the voucher price and eventually I was given it.

I was not given the contracted price at Hertz initially. I had a copy of my agreement. I kept being told, "I can not give you this price", but then they made good on it.
