I realized I lost the contract when returning the car, but the staff quickly verified my information. The full insurance was indeed necessary, as I scratched the left side of the car on the first day due to unfamiliarity with right-hand driving...

An extremely long wait to rent the car after arriving at Europcar offices, eventually got to the desk after over an hour wait. Inspected the car which had a lot of scratches that were not indicated on the rental agreement, so had to point them all out to the security guard on exiting carpark. It was an early return around 05.30 no agent to check the car to confirm no further damage had been done during rental, a little disconcerting as previously with Europcar I have been accused of damaging the car even though it had been reported, eventually they admitted it had been reported, but just adds bad taste to the hire experience.

Easyrentcars made it very easy to complete the hire, with a very competitive price. Would definitely use again, hopefully not with Europcar

The counter staff body language was rude, she hated when questions were being asked bad experience.

Please don't try to trick people by scaring them about insurance. Most people have comprehensive travel insurance and when they say they don't need your insurance you shouldn't proceed to scare them that it is not enough. trying to upgrade people to another car for Inflated prices is not good. I was offered an upgrade if I paid £15 a day _ this is more than I paid for the car I hired! I was told it woukd be more economic as it was diesel!!!! We didn't use more than 15 pounds of petrol a day.
