Thai Rent is extremely poor. They didn’t thoroughly inspect the car during pickup. After arriving at the hotel, I found several punctures in the tires. The car was in terrible condition, covered in scratches, had 150,000 km on it, and the power steering was broken. I contacted Zuzuche and was told to use a Thai number to call for roadside assistance from this company. A technician came to replace the spare tire, then directed us to a designated repair shop to replace the tire. From 4 PM until 10 PM, we were stuck dealing with the situation. The repair shop said they couldn't replace the tire without confirmation from the company. Thai Rent promised to replace the car the following day. After further coordination with Zuzuche, I requested a car replacement in the morning, but they could only arrange it in the afternoon. I used the spare tire to travel to another city in the morning — even the repair shop warned that this spare tire wasn’t safe for long-distance travel. It was pure luck that no safety issues occurred.

Used this car rental company many times and so far so good.

Before going, I made a reservation with Chinese service, but upon arrival, there was no Chinese receptionist available. They added me on WeChat and said I could contact them via phone or WeChat if I had any problems during my trip. Throughout the entire journey, everything went smoothly. On the night before returning the car, I tried to contact them via WeChat (voice and text) and phone, but only received responses in Thai, which I couldn't understand, failing to get through. This was very unsatisfactory. I then called the 24-hour service hotline, using my basic English skills to inquire about the car return procedure, only to be told that they couldn't find our rental ID. In the end, I drove back to the original pickup location to return the car myself. The 30 bucks spent on the Chinese service felt like a waste; it’s better to save more and improve your English skills. A follow-up call from the staff blamed the situation on the Chinese consultant being on leave, which I found laughable!

Long wait to pick up the car. Had a customer ahead of me in the line who kept asking weird questions, and i had to wait very long even tho i had a reservation etc.
