They insisted on us buying insurance, saying they wouldn't rent us the car without it. If we didn't know the rules, we definitely would have been tricked into buying it. The translator just translated and didn't really provide Chinese service. They also insisted we had to buy the insurance.

Because I didn't accept the insurance upsell from the staff, I was treated extremely poorly. First, they intentionally delayed by saying to wait and then attending to other things. Ten minutes later, they claimed there were no cars available. I said, 'Didn't you reserve one for me?' and then they started ignoring me. After a complaint and more than 50 minutes, I finally got a car I didn't want, in poor condition. The last row of seats couldn't move or fold, the exterior was scratched in many places, and there were three noticeable dents. When I pointed these out during the inspection, the staff simply said they didn't have time to check it. They didn't even say 'sorry' and continued to ignore me. When I asked for a different car, they were very unhelpful.

The car pickup process was quite slow. They changed the staff in between, and we had to start over again. The most important issue was that the car had only half a tank of gas at pickup, although the documentation stated it was full! It was my own fault for being careless... The return process was quite fast though.
