It feels like the reserved car model is almost impossible to get... When we arrived at the store, they immediately tried to give us an SUV. Since SUVs are in high demand, it didn't seem likely we would take one. Then they said we could either wait an hour for the car or take a smaller model than what we originally reserved. To save time, we agreed. Fortunately, the car was in good condition and worked well throughout the 9 days we used it.

It was a great experience. Even though my chip card wasn't authorized by the system, I was able to use the regular card swipe service afterward.

The night manager was very kind to upgrade our vehicle to a nicer car. However, because of the late hour of pickup no one walked the car to check for exiting damage, which there was on the front driver side of the car. I called to report the damage to corporate and even had to take the car back to the pickup location because no one would answer the phone at the lot. Upon drop off the Hertz Rep acknowledged that the damage was preexisting and note it accordingly on her held held device.

Didn’t receive the receipt via email after dropping off car. I had to call the next day.
