At the Eurocar Rome branch, we purchased insurance directly at the counter, which they claimed to be all-inclusive. However, when we returned the car, there was an unexplained scratch, and the return location insisted that this particular damage wasn't covered by the insurance, so we had to pay for it ourselves.

The queue was rather long, and the car's damage was not documented. Luckily, I noticed and spent time finding a staff member to record it, otherwise it would have been problematic.

It was a very convenient service at Europcar offices (Rome Airoport and Bari Airport), the personal was very nice and professionnal.
