They then suggested buying additional insurance, and when I refused, they started mumbling. Now, Alamo offers self-service kiosks with Chinese language options, so I recommend using the self-service machines.

They also said they would give me a good car if I paid an extra $156 to get Chinese navigation for free. Originally, I booked a mid-large SUV, but the store said they'd give me a class 4 vehicle. Zuzuche doesn't categorize cars that way, making it hard to distinguish. They actually gave me a Ford SUV. It feels like even though I paid in full, I had to pay an additional $156, effectively doubling the rental cost. When returning the car, I raised my concerns with the staff, and they only waived $50. So, Zuzuche, please give me an explanation. I called today, but nobody answered, constantly directed to automated services. Please give me a response.
