The service was quite good, although the wait time to pick up the car was a bit long.

Avis is pretty good.

The car's condition was average, over 30,000 miles, and the seatbelt buckle was missing. Every time I had to put on the seatbelt, I needed to open the car door and get the buckle out from underneath, which was quite inconvenient.

Queued for nearly 40 minutes. Even though I said no additional services, the staff kept pushing extra fees: additional insurance, extra driver, a full tank of fuel. The model I wanted was not available, and they tried to sell me a more expensive one. When I refused to pay extra, the staff became very impatient. They charged a deposit on my credit card without my consent. There was no Chinese service during this process.

Like: Rented a mini van and then upgraded to a full size Ford Expedition - all was perfect
Dislike: I was in the middle of Hurricane Irma, and I could not add additional insurance to cover the car over the phone and all the locations around me were closed. I called the Avis for help and then told me to go to 2 locations which were were closed.
