Easy, smooth rental. Happy to use Europcar again.

Satisfied overall. However, the car I picked up was quite old, with nearly 70,000 kilometers on the odometer. It consumed a lot of fuel during the trip. Driving from Reykjavik to Hofn, I discovered it was leaking engine oil. Fortunately, this issue was noticed in a town where there happened to be a rental office. With the guidance of QEEQ's customer service, I was able to exchange the car for another one, which also had close to 60,000 kilometers on it. Thankfully, this one had no issues, and the trip concluded smoothly. I would not consider renting from this company again.

The process was straightforward and the self-drive experience was great.

I originally booked a Golf, but when I arrived, they said they couldn't find my car; it was in another lot. Without asking me, they gave me a Skoda Octavia Diesel instead, which felt like an upgrade, so I was happy to take it. The car was in good condition. Later, a tire pressure warning light came on. After calling, they told me to reset it, but the instructions weren't very clear. I tried to reset it but couldn't, so I checked the tires myself. They seemed fine, so I drove to the nearest branch. The staff directed me to a repair shop, where the service was excellent. The issue turned out to be that one tire had high pressure. It was resolved for free. A small stone hit the windshield when driving on a sandy road, which scared me, but luckily it didn't crack. I recommend getting windshield insurance. I returned the car at 4 AM, and there were staff present, which was convenient. Overall, I am quite satisfied.
