Good

I was extremely tired when picking up car that I paid for. The operator in SFO was pleasant but bamboozled me with an upgrade which I apparently did to an extra cost of some $1500. The car was great because of the "in car directions" but I thought is was far too expensive considering I had already paid over £950 in the UK for the car which I thought would be the total cost. Totally unaware of drop-off charges because it was dropped off in a different state

I ordered a Jeep Cherokee or similar SUV and explained I was going up the mountains to ski but I was only offered a choice of 3 x Chevy Equinix's that were just Front Wheel Drive. The counter staff tried to sell me extra insurances, a tank of fuel and an upgrade to a 4 x 4 which I declined. I kind of had he last laugh though as I then needed to do 750 mile detour to get back to SFO because I wasn't given a 4 wheel drive and fotunately the hire was with unlimited mileage

All good ... But certainly would prefer an option that guarantees me a 4x4 even if that is a little more than a 2 wheel drive SUV especially for when I go skiing

Car, a Mazda3, was larger than ordered so there was no difficulty with getting everything in it. Could have been smaller and more economical but no complaints.

Like: The car was clean and operated very well.
Dislike: They tried to upsell and the vehicle I was given was not what Ihad reserved.

Like: The previous time I rented with you it took almost an hour to get the car - the line was quite long and moved slowly. This time was a breeze, and there was one person functioning as a concierge which made it even easier. Also, I got upgraded to a snazzy new car. Wheeee!
Dislike: nothing.
