The pick-up location in Zagreb is not far from the long-distance bus station, situated under a small hotel. It felt dubious at first, with such a big company having an office there, but it's legitimate. The staff were very thorough, and the car was parked in a nearby lot. Returning the car at Zagreb Airport was convenient. The inspection staff were extremely keen, quickly spotting any scratches and setting the compensation price, which felt like a money grab. However, the process was efficient and the staff were polite.
Very satisfied. The staff at both the pick-up and drop-off counters were very friendly, and the whole process went smoothly. Since I needed to cross borders into Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, I chose Enterprise because their cars allowed cross-border travel to all these countries. The total cross-border fee for all three countries was just 50 euros, which I paid at the pick-up counter. It was very convenient. I just hope the credit card deposit for the vehicle gets released soon, hahaha.
The pick up location does not have an enterprise sign outside so very hard to find.
The drop
Off location should be at the airport not in another location
There was no Yaris available at pickup, so we were given an Opel Crossland SUV at no extra charge. The vehicle condition was thoroughly explained, and we were asked to carefully inspect the car. Both the interior and exterior were very clean. When we noticed the windshield washer fluid was empty, it was immediately refilled. The car had lane markings and a backup camera. During the 7-day rental, there were no issues such as strange noises, vibrations, malfunctions, or tire pressure problems. Even on steep roads in Brac Island and Kotor, the car did not roll back. Fuel consumption averaged around 8 liters per 100 kilometers. Overall, the car was safe and reliable, and we were very satisfied.
“Reasonable car rental especially for our trip that we had to drop off the car in another country.”
About Enterprise:8.0/10
Car exceeded my expectation and had no issue with it driving from Dubrovnik to Milan. Only problem was the gas tank was only 2/8 full and it was hard to calculate how much gas we had to put in the tank as we were driving more than 1, 500 kilometers so we brought it back 7/8 full.
The car was not handed over with a full tank of fuel. They said it was fine as long as it looked similar. When returning, they claimed one bar was missing and charged a high fee for refueling. It would have been better to follow a full-to-full policy, as it's hard for customers to estimate. This leads to a poor review for the rental company.
In addition to credit and debit cards, you can now pay for online car rentals with cryptocurrency! Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) are accepted. Curious about how long a Bitcoin transaction takes or how to pay with Bitcoin? Read our FAQs for more details.
