Extremely satisfied. The car was a brand new model with only 2000 kilometers, and the staff provided professional and efficient service. There were no hidden fees. During this self-drive trip, the undercarriage was scratched, but the return process was handled professionally. The full insurance covered the undercarriage and glass, which was absolutely necessary and ensured a smooth experience. The car had great power and was clean and tidy. It was an unforgettable journey.
I feel like I was tricked. The rental price was about the same as the car I rented before, so I thought I got a good deal. However, when returning the car, they claimed there was a scratch on the lower part of the front bumper. Since it was on the underside and could only be seen by lying on the ground and looking up, it wasn't captured during pickup. I had no choice but to accept it and paid over 300 euros in compensation.
Overall, it was an average experience. The guy charged extra as a tip without informing beforehand. Only after asking about the discrepancy (though the amount wasn't much), he explained.
1. A minor scratch resulted in a claim for repair costs, management fees, and taxes, totaling over 5300 yuan.
2. Initially agreed to allow cross-border travel to Albania, but at pick-up, they claimed it was against national regulations and wasted over 3 hours. Suddenly, it became permissible again, treating agreements like a joke.
The whole process was straightforward, no unnecessary talk. Got the car key and realized it was an Audi. Went to the parking lot and found it was a Q5 sport diesel version, a brand-new car from April 2024. Kudos!
The attitude was indifferent. Additional charges for adding a driver are understandable since rules vary by location, but they didn't explain it clearly when picking up the car and directly charged the fee.
I picked up an Audi Q7 SUV at Belgrade Airport on June 4th and returned it as scheduled on June 10th. On June 10th, I received an email from the rental company claiming that the Audi Q7 had two scratched rims and was missing two tires, and they wanted to charge me over 1300 euros plus 20% tax. This is completely false. During my entire rental period, I did not encounter any accidents, and I parked the vehicle daily in dedicated garages and parking lots. I returned the car in perfect condition at Skopje Airport in North Macedonia, and there was absolutely no damage to the rims or missing tires.
