Overall, it was quite satisfactory. The car was relatively new with just over 10,000 kilometers on it. However, there are two points to note: first, the deposit is not a pre-authorization but a direct charge; second, when returning the car, they required me to provide photos of the damage for them to acknowledge it was pre-existing. Luckily, I had taken pictures when picking up the car, otherwise, who knows what could have happened.

AVIS is located inside the airport terminal, easy to find. The car pickup point is a bit far but there's a shuttle bus. The staff are quite friendly and easy to communicate with.

The staff at the store was very friendly, efficient, and had no issues communicating in English. Everything was explained very clearly! The car pickup was very smooth!

The service was very good. Our first car was a new one with only 31 kilometers. It broke down after driving from Antalya to Fethiye, but we got a replacement the next day without much delay. Returning the car at Izmir Airport was also very convenient and quick.
