Yes the car was good. The service was great and the lady Ashley was super courteous.

The vehicle was very dirty inside. We had to wait almost 30 minutes for the shuttle van.

The van front break was very bad condition. I suspect a transmission problem since its producing a wearied noise on the lower gears.

Everything went well as expected. Good value for the money through easy car rental.

Diondre at the AVR counter said that CA state law required that I purchase their liability insurance at $18.95/day. I called my Allstate agent to confirm I have across-the-board $500,000 liability insurance. Diondre still demanded that I pay the extra charge. By then it had already been more than two hours since I left the airport; my daughter and young grandsons were waiting, so I accepted the added insurance. Repeated emails and calls to AVR's General Manager, LAX have gone unanswered.
