Overall experience was good. No complicated procedures. To pick up the car, you only need a passport, credit card, and a driving license. Successfully picked up the car with a UK driver's license that I've had for just over a year, without an IDP. A 500 EUR credit card pre-authorization was returned the day after returning the car. The staff inspected the car carefully when returning it, so make sure to take a video around the car before renting to avoid any disputes. Got a Golf, which was a bit small but suitable for four people. The car only had a type-C port, so remember to bring an adapter.

Verona Station was awkward to get back to we were not informed we could use taxi/Bus lane only to get back to depot

Easy process

We arrived at 11pm and we were asked to pay a late pick up fee of 40 Euros, I couldn’t believe this (this is in small lines in the bottom of the confirmation) but I couldn’t believe it.

Rather than wait another 30 minutes for my car to be ready, I paid €30 for an upgrade. The car was new, but when I stopped in the Alps to fit the snow chains I ordered, there were none in the car. This made the rest of the trip quite worrying.
