This time the car pick-up experience was poor. I arrived at the store early and waited for over an hour with no car available. I had no choice but to settle for a sedan that couldn't fit my luggage. Later, I went to the airport to exchange it, but there were still no cars available, so I had to make do. While the staff at the store were polite, they couldn't resolve the issue.

The car was ok but not what I expect from Avis who I see as the premier car rental company

Great prices and easy booking

Hidden insurance fees were not disclosed by the staff. They concealed this from customers. The customer service was unhelpful, making me suspicious they might be colluding for profit. I will not use their services again.

It took 3 hours to pick up the car in LA. Not only did I not get the car I booked—because they didn't know when it would be returned—but after switching cars, I waited another 40 minutes in the parking lot because the car hadn't been washed and needed to wait in line. The chaotic process made me question if AVIS is really a public company.

Asked for a Ford explorer, received a Ford flex. Even though it was not what we had reserved it was still a very good vehicle.

Everything went very easy and smooth, will definitely recommend and use again.
