The car return inspection was very frustrating. Instead of a pre-authorization, they directly charged 1150 euros at the time of pickup. When I picked up the car, if I hadn't actively asked for an inspection, the rental staff would have just let me drive it away. The car was very clean, and I only took photos of the visible scratches without looking too closely. Returning the car was a terrible experience—using a flashlight for inspection?! Why didn't they use a flashlight during the pickup inspection? And charging 1150 euros directly on the credit card instead of a pre-authorization? This was the first time I encountered such a situation.

The staff was late delivering the car, refused to provide a replacement or compensation for the damaged vehicle, and the platform did nothing to effectively coordinate or communicate. They just played blame games with the rental company. Strongly recommend reconsidering using such local Spanish rental companies and opting for global brands instead, as their service is much better.

No problems with SOLO, the car was scratched in quite a number of places so I was extra careful to take lots of photos, but collection and drop off was a breeze, the agent was pleasant and friendly despite being busy, and they were honest about no further damage when I returned the car. No hesitation in using them again.

Very kind and helpful staff, the communication, pick up and drop off were super easy and the quality-price is very good. I would recommend Solo and if we return to Spain I will use again their service
