After getting the keys, you need to go to the airport parking lot to find and pick up the car yourself, but it's not particularly difficult. This was my first time driving/renting an electric vehicle. The counter mentioned that charging stations have become more common in France, but I found the best charging spots were at highway service areas! CCS allows for high-speed charging—100km in 1 minute—while regular Type 2 chargers take about an hour to charge 100km. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask at the counter beforehand to avoid language translation issues or other emergencies when calling later.
