It's okay, nothing particularly good or bad.

I booked a mini but they said they never had a mini and gave me a Skoda instead. But it was a new car, so it's acceptable.

The procedures were simple and straightforward, no unnecessary talk, just got the paperwork and drove off.

The process was quite convenient. They asked for the order, driver's license, passport, and notarized documents, then only inquired about additional insurance (I guessed, as my English isn't great). I declined, swiped my credit card, got the keys (which had the parking spot number), and left. Originally booked a BMW 3, but got a new Lada with only 1700 kilometers. Returning the car was also very easy; I just said 'done' to the staff (non-native speaker), they checked the car with a device, and it was fine. Back at the office, they gave me a receipt.

The car that I rented was nice (Jeep Compass with about 30K of mileage), clean inside-outside. Fast pick-up, I bought additional full insurance for normal price (you can bargain about price at the counter). I was fully happy with AVIS. Highly recommend PS: we rented a car for 4 pers. + 3 luggages + 3 snowboards and 1 Ski.
