If you don't want to queue or deal with the counter staff and avoid insurance offers, Alamo has a row of self-service machines in the rental lobby. Simply input your reservation number, driver's license number, swipe your credit card for the deposit, select 'no' for the other options, and the rental document will be printed out.

At the beginning of the rental process, they asked us to pay an additional insurance fee, but after negotiation, they agreed not to charge any extra fees. Everything else was very satisfactory and convenient, allowing us to choose our preferred or satisfactory model from similar vehicles.
