The car i got was a very dirty both outside and inside. i think the car was not clean at all

I arrived at Belfast Airport at 9.20pm. I called for the shuttle to pick me up but was told that the vehicle I had hired had a blown gear box and they didn't have any other cars to offer me. They were quite blatant and put the phone down! I went to the offices in the morning. Whilst I was there I rang the number I called the previous morning. A mobile in the Managers' hand rang, but he swore he wasn't there the night before. No apologies, no ownership of the night before's incident!

Nothing particularly wrong, certainly value wise. Staff friendly enough, car fine, service good. A couple of things to tighten up on though (some my misunderstandings but you could help others avoid)... Finding the location - I'd wrongly gone to the car hire bus stop at terminal 5 before realising you weren't on there. When I looked on the internet at the booking it said at the top 'available from terminals 1 -4'. As I saw that I didn't look further assuming I needed to go to a different terminal. I did so on the free train then found you weren't on that sign either. Only then did I look at the smaller print and find I needed to go to a specific bus stop for a specific bus. By that time it was very late. I had tried calling for advice several times but no one picked up which would also have saved me time. In hindsight I completely realise that it says on the detailed part of the voucher how to get to you but having travelled mainly abroad I'm used to car hire that's signed or in the airport. It never crossed my mind not to just follow signs for car hire and look for your desk.

More staff at the counter (there was only one person) would have shortened the wait. A street address would have helped the sat nav find the drop off location. £1800 hold on my credit card for up to 28 days is excessive and will stop me from using this company again

I would like to find out the complaints procedure. While the car we got was fine, we were lied to in terms of what cars were available, this kept changing, we were made to buy extra insurance on the basis of a different car being the only available one (turned out not to be true when we actually picked up the car). We booked an automatic specifically, and were told would would need to wait 6.5 hours if we wanted that. This review form didn't work the first three times I tried to submit it. Had to come back to the page multiple times.
