There was no wait time, but they asked a bunch of questions that seemed pointless to me, like about my flight out of Salt Lake City and my destination. I've never encountered this with other rental companies. As long as I return the car according to the rental agreement, why do they need this information?

Overall service is quite good. There was an unexpected issue with the vehicle and the replacement was not very timely. The language barrier and replacement procedure were not clear enough, and there was no assistance at critical moments, which was somewhat frustrating.

Pretty good, close to the airport.

Alamo in Salt Lake City is very close to the terminal, just a 5-minute walk. Several car rental companies are in the same building. The Alamo staff were very friendly, and I picked up the car directly with my driver's license. The Ford Escape I rented was unavailable, so they gave me a free upgrade to a Chevrolet Equinox. The car's condition was good, with over 20,000 kilometers, and it was very spacious, although the power was just average.
