When driving out of town, I noticed a strange noise from the car. I contacted the company, and they provided a car replacement option. Although I didn't need to use it, I felt their service was good. The pick-up and drop-off procedures were also simple.

The service at the counter was quick and the staff were fairly friendly, although they did try to sell insurance. The Jeep Grand Cherokee I booked online wasn't available, but they gave me a Chevrolet SUV instead (I guess there aren’t many Grand Cherokees and it's just a gimmick online). Overall, Alamo’s cars aren't new, but the condition is acceptable, though the interior was a bit dirty.

We picked up the car at Las Vegas airport. A shuttle bus took us to the rental center where Alamo is located on the left as you enter. The staff asked a few simple questions like whether we needed a full tank of gas or insurance. After confirming our preferences, they quickly processed the paperwork. We then proceeded to choose a car and at the exit, our driving license was checked, and we handed over the pick-up slip issued at the counter. We started our Western USA trip in a Dodge Journey. For the return, we used Google Maps to navigate to the rental center. Upon arrival, we easily spotted the large return signs directing us to the Alamo return area. An enthusiastic employee waved us into a designated spot for inspection. We had already cleaned out our personal belongings from the car, and the return process was completed in three minutes. In summary, renting from Alamo was quick and convenient with no aggressive insurance upselling, and the service was excellent. We will choose Alamo again next time.

The process is simple and quick. While there are sales pitches for roadside assistance, if you express your preference, they don't persist. Very satisfied.
