We rented and returned the car in Los Angeles; the service from Alamo was excellent—simple and fast. The transportation from the airport to the rental spot was very convenient. The staff were diligent, and I will use them again next time.

The pick-up process was not very smooth. I have rented cars in Los Angeles many times, and I only needed to present my Chinese driver's license. But this time, I was assisted by an older Indian man whose attitude was extremely cold, filled with arrogance and disdain. He insisted we provide a translation of the license. Later, we switched to a white service agent, and we didn't need any of that—just signed and took the car. The mindset of Indian and Pakistani staff really needs to be adjusted. During the drop-off, they insisted that we write down the mileage, which was never required before.

The staff who explained the car models to us was very unreliable. He told me the car I wanted was unavailable, even though it clearly was.

Communication was not smooth enough, the replacement car was not as good as the original one, and I had no choice, so it was quite confusing.
