Customer service was very efficient and exceptionally friendly, making me feel very welcomed in a foreign country.

AVIS is the worst car rental company I have ever used, without exception. When we arrived at the store, we were told there were no cars of the same model available in the entire San Francisco area, only worse models. If we wanted the same model, we had to go to Auckland Airport to pick it up. Once we got to Auckland Airport, we were told the car was broken and needed repairs. The rental company staff were very unhelpful. In the end, we got the car over 4 hours late.

There are hidden charges and mandatory E-TOLL terms.

I have been charged 435 US dollars outside of my already paid amount for this reservation. 174 were cut as security and 239 have been cut after we dropped it off. This is highly unprofessional and has not even been authorized. ALSO NO RECEIPT OF THESE DEDUCTIONS HAS BEEN RECEIVED. Please have this reversed.
