Great car, good service

First time renting a car, great service, and the car was new.

We informed the staff about the collision when returning the car, but they were very impatient and kept questioning us about how the accident happened. We booked a Cruze but were given a very old model Nissan Pulsar instead. The car had no backup radar or alert system, making it very prone to accidents, especially in dark conditions. The experience was far worse compared to Hertz, and we won't choose this company again.

Although the procedures took a bit long due to the detailed explanation, the service was good. Car pickup and return went smoothly. The car was a new model with low mileage. No pressure to purchase additional insurance. English proficiency required was not too high. Pickup and return were right at the airport, which was very convenient. Highly recommended.

Great! Got an upgraded car! No extra charge for an additional driver! Probably because we bought full insurance! They didn't even check the car when we returned it!

I’m very disappointed about the woman that was attending at the counter (14/10/2022-23:00aprox Melbourne airport). When she knew that we are Colombians she started to talk about cocaine and the good quality of Colombian cocaine. For me and my brother, it is a terrible disrespect and it is even almost a racist and discriminatory comment, in her position as a client attendant, she has to be respectful of all people and cultures instead as she did following a bad stigma about a country to frame us as bad people. in Colombia, we are more the good people than the bad ones and drugs are not anymore the main thing in a country full of culture and good people. On the other hand, she had a bad attitude attending us, with a poor explanation about the process. for example, she charge me $100 but she wasn’t clear for what reason I had to pay that. (I suppose it is a bond that will be returned to my account) because when I did the booking I paid for everything. (At this time, I don’t know anything about this $100 and I would like to know when will be my money returned? ) It is a shame just an only one person with a very bad attitude destroys the whole experience and good name of a company. Forgetting the bad experience at the counter all was good and the car was great. That’s why we have a bittersweet taste about the experience renting a car in budget.
