I have rented cars from Hertz in many places, but the experience at the Vancouver airport was quite poor. They kept pushing additional insurance even though I emphasized multiple times that I had already purchased full coverage. They insisted that towing fees were not included, and so on.

The return process in Edmonton was very good, but the pickup service in Calgary was not. It was entirely in English, and even though they saw I was Chinese, they didn't slow down their speech. The person tried to sell me insurance, and when I didn't buy it, he became unhappy, just tossed the keys to me and told me to find the car myself. I wasn't familiar with some of the car's details and switches, but they didn't come over to help even after I asked several times. They also suggested I upgrade to an SUV.

Chris at the Banff pickup point was excellent. So helpful and patient in showing us all the workings of the car.

Like: Easy picking up and drop off
Dislike: There was not cars to choice in Toronto, I took the first which arrived. Fortunately I had not to wait for so long.
