# Wonderful Car Rental Experience in Oslo, Norway I made a great choice by renting a car for my Nordic trip in Oslo, Norway! The car rental company's service was exceptional. From the booking stage, their customer service was patient and professional, promptly answering all my questions and even offering practical vehicle recommendations based on my itinerary. At the store, the staff was warm and efficient, quickly processing the paperwork while thoroughly explaining the car's features and local driving precautions. Now about the car itself – its condition was excellent. I rented a spacious SUV with comfortable seats and great visibility. The interior was well-equipped, and everything functioned perfectly. The driving experience was smooth and stable, which was ideal for Oslo’s diverse road conditions. Plus, the fuel consumption was lower than I expected, saving me quite a bit of money. Oslo’s scenery is breathtaking, and renting a car gave me the freedom to explore every hidden corner. I drove leisurely along the fjord roads, admiring the crystal-clear waters and majestic mountains. I could stop at roadside villages anytime to experience the peaceful local lifestyle. Relying solely on public transportation could never provide this level of flexibility and enjoyment. Returning the car was also very smooth. The staff carefully inspected the vehicle and quickly completed the process. There were no hidden fees throughout the rental experience, which was incredibly reassuring. Overall, pretty good. It was my first time renting a car, so I was a bit worried, but everything went smoothly. At the airport, it was easy to find by following the car rental signs. However, the pickup process took a bit long, around 20 minutes. I originally booked a Suzuki but paid a few hundred yuan at the shop to upgrade to a Volvo XC60. The car was very new, with only a few thousand kilometers, equipped with a built-in navigation system and heads-up display, which made driving very smooth and convenient. Toll fees didn’t need to be paid on-site since the car had something similar to ETC in China.

Every time the car starts, it shows a need for professional maintenance service. Additionally, the vehicle does not display the total mileage or the mileage for the current trip.

Excellent, received a new car with only 6000 kilometers. Toll fees and ferry fees were directly deducted. 12 days cost just a little over 1000. However, I didn't receive an email statement.

I initially booked a BMW iX40, but the rental company didn't actually have the car. After some on-site negotiation, I ended up with a diesel Skoda station wagon from the neighboring AVIS location. From a vehicle perspective, this was a downgrade, but the rental company provided good service, even offering a full tank of fuel. The car was brand new, had 4-wheel drive, and performed well, especially for driving on mountain roads in Norway. However, on long trips, the person sitting in the middle of the back seat might find it uncomfortable.

There was no counter at the airport, no signs, and I had to ask several people before I found the shuttle to the rental company. The online description mentioned a luxury car, BMW 520 or similar, but in reality, it was a BMW 3-series wagon, which felt small. The trunk was too small and could hardly fit all our luggage. The car was a hybrid and very fuel-efficient, averaging less than 6 liters per 100 km.

I rented a fuel-powered car, but when I arrived at the rental agency, they provided a small Renault Zoe electric car with a range of 300 kilometers. They explained that reservations can only specify the car model, not the fuel type. During our five-day road trip driving 300 kilometers daily, we spent 1-2 hours each day charging the car. I will never book with Eurocar again.
