This was my first time renting a car overseas, and I was very satisfied with Budget! We originally rented a Mondeo, but the staff noticed we had a lot of luggage and offered to upgrade us to a Volkswagen with a larger trunk for just 7 euros more per day. This turned out to be the right decision. The car was in excellent condition; it was a diesel and had only 7800 kilometers on it, making it very fuel-efficient. We drove 1700 kilometers in total and spent 138 euros on fuel. Returning the car was also very easy and hassle-free. The staff inspected the car and immediately processed the return. The simplicity exceeded our expectations.

Very satisfied! I was upgraded to a Volvo XC60 with excellent condition. No sales pressure or extra charges. The deposit was refunded quickly. I will choose them again.

Zuzuche service was great, but Europcar was terrible! 1. When picking up the car, I was downgraded. The Volkswagen model I chose on the Zuzuche app was more expensive than the Hyundai model I actually received. If I had rented the Hyundai directly, it would have been cheaper. I paid for a Volkswagen but ended up with a cheaper Hyundai. I asked the staff to change the car, but they said the picture is just for reference and they don't guarantee the model. Other rental companies usually upgrade the car if they can't provide the specific model shown in the picture, but the Europcar staff insisted they had no cars available and gave me a cheaper model. I asked to cancel the rental, but they said I could return the car but wouldn't get a refund. Since my travel plans were fixed, I had no choice but to accept this arrangement. Throughout the process, their attitude towards us as Chinese customers was very unfriendly. 2. After picking up the car, I noticed that its maintenance was due during our rental period. 3. After returning the car on January 13, I still hadn't received my deposit back by early March. I had to contact Zuzuche customer service to coordinate the return, and I finally received it on March 14. 4. The location of the pickup store was wrong on Google Maps.

There is no office or even a counter here. Three days before picking up the car, I had to send a bunch of documents, and they claimed not to receive them. On the day, I had to get a number ticket at the Nuremberg Visitor Center to pick up the car, and the rental company was completely unaware of this?
