Cheap rental for short usage

I have never left a review before (good or bad) but my experience with Easirent was so bad I had to. After experiencing an issue with my credit card I was forced to pay for added insurance that I didn't want, with no help or flexibility or suggestions from the counter staff at all, who was visibly delighted to be taking an extra £120 for a service I didn't need or want (despite me offering to pay the full £1600 deposit instead). Later, when trying to contact Easirent to confirm drop off / shuttle arrangements (on a Friday morning) no one answered any of the phone lines, despite multiple attempts throughout the day. On arriving at drop-off, we were told 'the driver hasn't turned up today, so you'll have to get yourself to the airport' - no hint of paying for the taxi, or even calling a taxi on our behalf. Genuinely the worst customer service of any kind I have ever received. I hope my experience was a one-off, but I somehow doubt it.

Unfortunately, I think the car needed a bit of tuning and servicing.

Fantastic and fair

The car (a peugeot 308 Auto) was very good apart from the fitted dash cam which was only stuck on the windscreen, kept coming unstuck and swinging under the mirror. Had to tuck it under the mirror in the end as was a distraction. Take photos of any marks/damage to wheels or bodywork before accepting car to prove innocence on returning. To be fair, Ben suggested that I do that for my protection. Also the Service warning light kept coming on suggesting a service was overdue but still a nice car.

New to me but the Price Drop Protector worked well on my original booking (Fiesta) but was of no use to me as I had to change the car at the last minute. Great idea though.

First I have to wait over an hour to get the car and it was extremely dirty. I was not happy with your counter staff Ray He is going to charge me £45.00 each day. I was told that I can drop my car in the car park while renting your car, as I have free parking at my work. On my return I was charge £48.00 because when I drove in the attendant raise the barrier manually and I was park in the space where I pick the rental car. Why is Ray told me it was free parking and RCP charge me £48.00. The area manager of RCP refuse my explanation. I will like Ray to pay me back the parking fee. I am not very happy about your service. Another thing they say I will pick up the car with a full tank of petrol BUT the gaze was just over a quarter . I hope you refund my money for the petrol as deposit.
