I enjoyed my rental but I had to take the first car back which was a grade lower than what was advertised. When I went back I had to show the clerk my receipt on my phone for him to give me a car that matched the purchase I made, which to him didnt make sense because it was a grade higher. The first car I took was a Jeep campus, I had to take it back because it was too noisey.

Be prepared for extra hidden fees. They charged me $300.00 security deposit and were supposed to return it. Never did. Instead they told me that this much for that and this for that. A rental went from 75.00 to around 320.00. I specifically asked if I had to refill gas, I was told that I don't have to and they won't charge me. That didnt happen. Stay away from them. I was so dissipointed.

They lie about the space of the suv and the space for 5 bags was a lie , was very disappointed . 6 of us hardly to fix in the suv it was a very uncomfortable ride to our destination.

Even though I had a reservation for a SUV, that vehicle or anything similar was available. What was the purposes of a reservation was the question I asked the PAYLESS representative. She indicated that the “system” does not allow her to see what vehicles were reserved for that day. Supposedly employees don’t have access to view what cars are needed for customers with reservations. There was no attempt to find a vehicle which could accommodate 6 - 7 passengers. Employee did not check other PAYLESS sites in Wichita for a possible rental. It was a, sorry can’t help you, attitude. I ended up driving my car to Albuquerque. Very poor customer service and inadequate reservation system. Will never rent from PAYLESS or recommend PAYLESS to friends and family.
