We took an Uber at 8:30 AM and arrived at the car rental service on time. The pickup process was smooth with no aggressive upselling. There were three of us, all with translated driver's licenses. The staff checked them and confirmed that we could drive without charging additional fees for extra drivers. The security deposit for the rental was $260, paid via Visa. The staff inspected the vehicle together with us, checked the fuel gauge, took photos for records, and reminded us to refuel the tank within 15 kilometers of the return location and keep the receipt as proof. After that, we hit the road. The car was quiet, in great condition, and everything went smoothly during the trip.

The staff at the rental company were very friendly. However, they required a 100 AUD deposit for highway tolls, which I wasn't sure would be adjusted based on actual usage. I didn't end up needing that much for tolls.

Pretty good. Although the car rental company gave me a car that wasn't the exact model I reserved, it was the same class. The car was very new, with only 193 kilometers on it, so it was practically brand new.

Nice to be upgraded at arrival. Was more car than I needed and ended up with a higher insurance quote unexpectedly due to purchase at airport.
